Goel Roadways with registered office at 155B, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Kolkata – 700 007 and corporate office at 18A, Satyendra Nath Majumdar Sarani, Kolkata – 700 026 is one of the leading professionally managed transporters for last 5 decades catering to the transportation requirements of different reputed multinational and Indian companies to their full satisfaction.

Goel Roadways have operations all over India with more than 40 branches located in different parts of the country. All the branches are with internet connectivityand professionally managed and provide optimum turnkey solutions to its clients skilled and experienced staff. Goel Roadways operate through large number of vehicles owned by them. Goel Roadways are ISO 9001:2008 certified organization and are nominated by Indian Banks’ Association vide code no. CGA123.

Evolution



The evolution of Goel Roadways from the initial status to the current one took place in Three phases. In the first phase, only 6/7 clients were catered to with 5 branches for transportation from plant to warehouse without any facility for storing, packaging or clearing.

In the second phase, Goel Roadways transferred itself to a professional outfit, to match with customer expectations, by developing softwares to monitor vehicles tracking systems with better co-ordination among increasing number of branches though electronic connectivity. Also started transportation from plant to warehouse to plant with maximum use of both owned and attached vehicles. During this phase Goel Roadways got involved also with CFA activities by associating with prestigious clients like Philips India Ltd in Kolkata and Ghaziabad and soon thereafter entrusted with such assignments also by other major clients in other part of the country. Due to above innovations and extensions of operations, there was substantial increase in number of clients during this phase.

In the final phase, Goel Roadways cultivated and successfully executed specialized transportation of sophisticated project (ODC) consignments of important customers and achieved rapid advancement in implementing project logistics through collaboration with Ruby Infralogistics Pvt. Ltd., one of the prime freight logistics groups in the country. Goel Roadways simultaneously started handling and clearing export consignments of the clients for Bangladesh through specially trained staff and value added facilities of storage and transshipment to the optimum satisfaction of the clients. In the process, Goel Roadways was entrusted with similar assignments by growing number of clients.

Goel Roadways, a partnership firm, was incorporated by late MadanLal Goel and registered in 1959. The current partners of the firm are :
